Who Qualifies for a Personal Care Attendant for the Elderly in Connecticut?
The Personal Care Attendant program is open to Connecticut seniors who need support with daily activities at home. To qualify, the senior receiving care must meet the following criteria.

Connecticut funds personal care attendant services for seniors through the Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders, known as CHCPE. This is a state and federally funded program that covers the full cost of in-home care for qualifying seniors aged 65 and older. There is no enrollment fee and nothing comes out of the family’s pocket.
