What is the PCA Program?

The Connecticut PCA Program is a state-supported service that allows seniors to hire a Personal Care Assistant to help with personal and household needs. Instead of transitioning to a nursing home or assisted living facility, participants receive customized, one-on-one care in the comfort of their own homes.

Who Qualifies?

You may be eligible if you:

Are 65 years or older
Live in Connecticut
Need help with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, or mobility
Wish to remain at home instead of entering a long-term care facility
Meet Medicaid or state financial eligibility requirements
